Saturday and Sunday are still wide open. Here are six picks for the rest of this weekend, October 10 and 11, all pulled from the Best of 614 events calendar, with two festivals that keep going until Sunday.

  • Columbus Italian Festival - Saturday and Sunday on the grounds of Saint John the Baptist in Italian Village, with food booths, music and the Sunday parade after Mass.
  • Urban Scrawl - The final two days of artists painting murals in public around 400 West Rich in Franklinton, the longest running mural festival in town.
  • Fall Fest at Slate Run Metro Park - Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Buzzards Roost picnic area near Canal Winchester, with vendors, food trucks and free family stations.
  • Ohio State vs Maryland - Homecoming Saturday at Ohio Stadium. The official Ohio State schedule lists a 4:15 p.m. kickoff, so expect campus streets to fill by early afternoon.
  • Día de los Niños at Lincoln Theatre - Sunday in King-Lincoln, a free CAPA afternoon with crafts at 1:30 p.m. and a 3 p.m. Cuentos performance. Register before you go.
  • DJ Shadow at The Bluestone - Sunday night, all ages, marking 30 years of Endtroducing with doors at 7 p.m.

Want a louder Saturday night instead? Interpol at KEMBA Live opens doors at 6:30 p.m. in the Arena District. First visit to the Horseshoe? Read our game day guide before you pick a garage. Neighborhood background for the festival blocks lives on our Italian Village and Franklinton pages.

If rain moves in, the two theater picks on Sunday stay dry. The rest is outdoors, so bring a layer.
