Another double-lane coffee stand is aimed at the Powell Road corridor. 7 Brew is preparing a drive-thru at 4087 W. Powell Road in Liberty Township near Powell, with franchisee Motley 7 Brew and president Rick Nader pointing to an anticipated opening around Sept. 21, 2026.
As of this writing, local coverage still framed that date as anticipated or tentative. NBC4, Hoodline, and What Now Columbus all carried the Sept. 21 target earlier, but none of those reports confirmed a ribbon-cut on that exact day. What the stand is, and what it replaces
The site previously held an Arby's that was demolished this summer. 7 Brew's menu pitch is speed plus volume: more than 20,000 flavor combinations across coffee, tea, lemonade, smoothies, and energy drinks, with named drinks that range from cinnamon roll breve to bubble gum lemonade. Yelp ranked the brand the second-fastest-growing in Ohio in a 2026 study that weighed new openings, searches, and engagement.
Central Ohio already has a thick 7 Brew map. Lancaster arrived in 2023, Hilliard and Newark in 2024, a campus walk-thru near Ohio State in 2025, then southwest Columbus and Worthington in January 2026, Delaware in June, Dublin in August, and now this Powell Road stop. The company founded in Arkansas in 2017 lists more than 700 locations across 38 states and about 49 Ohio stands on its site, per NBC4.
How to plan the first visit
Expect a compact drive-thru stand rather than a full cafe. Hours, hiring boards, and an official open-day post had not been locked in public reporting when the Sept. 21 date was still labeled tentative.
